training for the right candidates who are ready to learn, grow, and support
others.

Applicants must be 18 years or older,
possess a
high school diploma or GED, and be able to perform the
essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Direct Support Professionals provide person-centered
supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in
accordance with their Individual Service Plans (ISPs). Your role is hands-on,
meaningful, and directly impacts the quality of life of the individuals we
serve.

Daily responsibilities may include:

 

  • Supporting personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Assisting with meal preparation, hygiene, and daily routines
  • Providing transportation* and support during community outings and activities
  • Supporting communication, socialization, and relationship-building skills
  • Assisting with behavioral support strategies and positive redirection
  • Promoting independence, choice, and skill development in everyday life
  • Supporting health, safety, and medication-related tasks as trained and assigned

    *All staff providing transportation support must be over the age of 21 and have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions for insurance purposes.

    Company-Wide Responsibilities:
  • Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents’ families, visitors and staff.
  • Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the residents, employees, company information and records.
  • Complies with the attendance policy.
  • Maintains neat appearance, good personal hygiene and appropriate attire.
  • Assists with projects as assigned and performs other related duties.
